Environmental Health Services
This division provides service to local authorities, many of which choose to use Food and Health Standards to carry out environmental health and monitoring functions, with an emphasis on competence and cost efficiency.

- Licensing and assessment of Offensive Trade operators
- Drinking water supplies assessment, monitoring, testing and WINZ database management. Individual audits of water supplies with regards to sanitary surveys and Public Health Risk Management Programmes for drinking water schemes and supplies

Food and Health Standards provides public and school swimming pool monitoring and training services, which involves:
- Assessment of the management practices.
- Swimming pool management.
- Assessment and training of pool operators, including water quality monitoring.
